Workshop Grants support digital humanities discussions and training opportunities on the Yale campus. Funds up to $500 might be applied toward honoraria and travel expenses for non-Yale participants and/or food for attendees.
Past examples: Recipients have brought guest speakers to campus to offer training in a variety of digital humanities methods, from TEI to mapping. For an example of a previously funded workshop, visit the Radical Media and Social Change workshop page.
HOW TO APPLY
Yale undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and library staff are eligible to apply.
Applications entail short abstracts that detail the proposed event, identify any speaker(s), specify what the $500 award would cover, and mention the intended audience and outcomes.
